Clayworks Rustic Coarse Clay Plaster is a pre-mixed, pre-coloured interior wall and ceiling plaster, ready to mix with water and apply using traditional plastering skills and tools. A 100% natural product with all ingredients compostable.*

Clayworks Demi Rustic is a pre-mixed, pre-coloured, coarse-grained clay plaster for interior walls and ceilings, ready to be mixed with water and applied using traditional plastering skills and tools. A 100% natural product with all its ingredients compostable. Featuring a slightly more textured finish, Demi Rustic is Clayworks’ easiest plaster to apply. It can be finished with different trowels and plastering techniques to achieve different aesthetics from relatively rough to very rough. Not for use on floors, stair treads, worktops, seating and other horizontal surfaces subject to heavy loads. Available in all colours in the Clayworks colour range and typically 6-7mm thick.
Preparation and Application
Clayworks Rustic Coarse Clay Plaster is applied to gypsum board, masonry, block and fibreboard that have been treated with Clayworks Premium Primer. Other substrates may require a special backing coat. For details, see our separate data sheet “Clayworks Application Details” – APPLICATION GUIDELINES. Cannot be applied directly to wood, including plywood, MDF or OSB. Suitable for interior walls and ceilings and fixed furniture. Suitable for bathrooms, but not wet areas or shower areas. Not suitable for floors.
