For domestic use, crafts, fine arts and in short, wherever a high quality, durable and very matt finish paint is required.

INFORMATION

Fleur Chalky Look is a water-based paint rich in minerals, with an extremely matt finish. It is used for decorating furniture or any other material and surface where a high quality matt paint is required. Due to the characteristics of the product, it is used on all types of substrates such as wood, metal, glass, leather and plastics. For domestic use, crafts, fine arts and in short, wherever a high quality, durable and very matt finish paint is required.

Preparation and Application

  • Shake well before use.
  • Apply to dry and clean surfaces. Sand off rusted areas. On PP (Plastic) apply a suitable primer first.
  • Apply in 2 coats for best results. Recoat after 30 minutes.
  • Once completely dry you can sand.
  • No wax is required to protect the paint. Full mechanical strength and hardness is obtained in 3-5 days, depending on the thickness applied and ambient conditions.
  • Use only in well-ventilated areas.

 

Shabby Effect

  • Give the object a shade with Fleur Chalky Look . Once completely dry, apply the transparent wax – Shabby Wax with a sponge, a cloth or a brush to the areas where you will then rub.
  • Let it dry.
  • Apply a layer of another Fleur Chalky Look color in contrast to the previous one. Let it dry.
  • Once completely dry, rub the object in the areas where the wax was previously applied. In these areas the color peels off easily, giving the object a worn and naturally aged appearance.
  • Complete the project by applying a layer of transparent wax to protect the finished surface.
