Specially designed to effectively and sustainably protect parquet flooring in rooms with very intense use and traffic: entrance, hallway, living room, bedroom.

Its composition based on polyurethane resins gives the protective film flexibility and resistance to guarantee enhanced protection against daily stresses: repeated passages, scratches, shocks and stains.

Easy to maintain, the varnish is washable and resistant to household products and water.

The Vitrificateur Ultra Resistant AQUARÉTHANE® floor varnish is non-slip, its slip resistance has been tested by Labosport (test report n°R120527-A1).

Applicable to all types of wood as well as heated floors and floors with underfloor heating.

Thanks to its fast drying, there are no more restrictions on projects and no need to close off areas for several hours or even several days. With Vitrificateur Ultra Resistant varnish, you complete your project in just 1 day to fully enjoy your interior space and your free time!

Preparation

Parquet or bare wooden floor, clean, dry, sound and free of wax residue.

New floors: Sand with a floor sander (grit 120). Dust thoroughly.
Old parquet floors (with varnish or oil): Sand down to bare wood with a floor sander (grit 40, 60 and 100). Dust thoroughly. The use of abrasives is not recommended.
Exotic, previously waxed wood or boat deck wood: Degrease with acetone and then sand.
On contaminated wood: scrape, clean and then apply a suitable treatment product. Let dry for at least 48 hours before applying the floor varnish.
Tip: Apply Syntilor Sous-Couche Parquet underlay before applying floor varnish (especially if the parquet was previously waxed or oiled).
If you wish to paint the floor with a floor paint, the treatment must be done before applying the floor primer.

Application

Ready to use, do not dilute. Mix well before use.

Apply with a brush, trowel or roller, 3 uniform and well-filled coats or 2 coats if you have applied a coat of Sous-Couche Parquet.
Work in crosswise and filling coats, always finishing in the direction of the length of the wood fibers.
Leave to dry for 1 hour between each coat.
Then sand lightly (sandpaper 120 to 180) and dust well.
Do not exceed 48 hours between 2 coats.
Reuse spaces within 6 hours after the last coat. Take some precautions during the first 7 days. Do not install carpets for 10 days.

Note: the milky appearance of the liquid product during application disappears upon drying.
