The transparent two-component water-based resin varnish, Top Coat AR 70 Opaco + CT80, has a composition that protects and gives a matte final result, which is at the same time uniform and very resistant to chemicals. It is ideal for walls and floors that have been treated with the VALPAINT I-BETON decoration system.

It is ideal for walls and floors that have been treated with the VALPAINT I-BETON decoration system. Its special composition makes it very resistant to chemical agents and substances.
Preparation
General recommendation: always clean, degrease and scrub to eliminate anything that could cause detachment. Then wash with water and appropriate soaps or other specific products based on the type of substrate to be treated. DO NOT APPLY in case of rising damp on the substrate or over paints and coatings that have not completely dried.
Catalyst use: Top Coat AR70 should be catalyzed with the CT80 catalyst, mixed very well with a stirrer and ensuring that the material remaining on the walls of the container is transferred to the center to mix well with the rest. CT80 catalyst is very sensitive to moisture, so once the container is opened it must be used or closed with great care. Application must be carried out within 1 hour at 20°C after mixing.
Top Coat Opaco can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun, on many different substrates such as: wood, mdf, parquet, stainless steel, plasterboard and iron (after adequate treatment with a very good quality anti-corrosion coating).
Between the first and second coat of Top Coat Opaco wait 6 – 8 hours at 20°C and do not exceed 24 hours. The pot life of the mixture is 1-1.5 hours at 20°C and with higher temperatures, the catalysis time is reduced.
In the case of applying Top Coat Opaco on a surface that requires the application of products of sanitary concern and protection at each stage of the food production process (use with HACCP certification) apply two layers with a roller until the surface is evenly coated – recommended dilution 50% with water. Wait 6-8 hours at 20°C between the first and second layer. In any case, do not wait more than 24 hours at 20°C between layers
