Muro Naturale is an innovative product in the stucco category and has been modified in such a way that it can meet current demands for colors and speed of application. A natural wall to touch, feel and experience in 169 colors. Easy to apply, has excellent filling power and has natural resistance to attack by mold and bacteria.
Muro Naturale is a coating based on lime, marble powders of different sizes and natural mineral elements. It contains a quantity of silver Mica mineral. Easy to apply, it has excellent filling power and has natural resistance to attack by mold and bacteria. Absolutely stable over time, it keeps the breathability of the substrate unchanged due to its high permeability to water vapor. It is applied with only one layer. It can be left natural or protected based on the required breathability or resistance, with Cera d’Api wax or the special Vetro Lucido or Opaque varnishes.
Preparation
Old surface. Remove all loose old and peeling paint and clean. Then apply a stabilizing primer depending on the type of surface. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of PRIMUS NATURALE diluted up to a maximum of 10% with water. After 4-6 hours at 20°C proceed with the application of Muro Naturale.
New surface. Clean (and if necessary, fill in) the surface you want to paint. Once dry, sand the surface and apply a coat of suitable primer. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of PRIMUS NATURALE diluted up to a maximum of 10% with water. After 4-6 hours at 20°C proceed with the application of Muro Naturale.
Note: When the substrate is plasterboard, the surface must be completely smoothed, not just the joints and screws. It must then be primed with a suitable plasterboard filler and then the above preparation procedure must be followed.

Protection
2 days later and in order to increase the resistance and washability of the surface, apply the protective natural wax Cera d’Api.
With VETRO Opaco/Lucido/Satinato water-based varnish: Protective water-based varnish in Matt/Glossy/Satin finish. The product is ready to use. Let the surface to be applied dry for at least 48 hours. Apply 1 or 2 coats with a brush or roller.
