INFORMATION

Meteore 10 Cemento is a natural, water-based coating for interiors, ideal for reproducing the “cement” effect in all its different varieties and finishes. It fits perfectly into any modern and contemporary interior decoration proposal, giving a special touch of elegance with a unique visual impact. It gains its full durability after 28 days. Once the product has fully hardened, a breathable film develops that offers good impact resistance and normal abrasion.

Preparation

  • Make sure the surface is solid and remove any dirt. Remove old paints that do not adhere well or are disintegrated and wash the surface thoroughly. Then, fill, where necessary, to have a uniform substrate. After drying, sand with sandpaper and apply a suitable preparation primer. Then, proceed to apply PRIMER 1200 either by Roller, Brush or paint gun. After 6 hours at 20°C, apply Meteore 10 Cemento and finish with C100 OVER.
  • Apply Meteore 10 Cemento with the Valpaint PV 43 stainless steel spatula and complete the finish, while it is still wet with the tools required for the effect you want to obtain.
  • Leave to dry for 24 hours at 20°C, then finish with the C100 OVER finish.
  • Surfaces treated with Meteore 10 should not be exposed to the weather immediately to avoid staining and recoating with a lime-based product. It is always advisable to protect work carried out outdoors for at least 48 to 72 hours from sun, humidity or heavy rain.

 

Application

Compact Cement

  • Dilution : to obtain this effect, do not dilute Meteore 10 Cemento or C100 OVER. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento, approximately 1 liter per 1 – 1.5m2, one coat on a smooth surface. C100 OVER, approximately 1 liter per 4-5 m2 for one coat.

Large Cement Slabs

  • Dilution : to obtain this effect, do not dilute either Meteore 10 Cemento or C100 OVER. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento, approximately 1 liter per 1 – 1.5m2, one coat on a smooth surface. C100 OVER, approximately 1 liter per 4-5 m2 for one coat.

Slim cement (with dilution)

  • Dilution: to obtain this effect, do not dilute Meteore 10 Cemento. C100 OVER should be diluted 10% with water. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento, approximately 1 liter per 1 – 1.5m2, one coat on a smooth surface. C100 OVER, approximately 1 liter per 4-5 m2 for one coat.

Ground Cement

  • Dilution: to obtain this effect, do not dilute Meteore 10 Cemento or C100 OVER. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento, approximately 1 liter per 1 – 1.5m2, one coat on a smooth surface. C100 OVER, approximately 1 liter per 4-5 m2 for one coat.

Old Scored Cement

  • Dilution : to obtain this effect, dilute Meteore 10 Cemento with 100ml of water per Liter of product. Dilute C100 OVER 10% with water. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento, approximately 1 liter per 2 – 2.5m2, one coat on a smooth surface. C100 OVER, approximately 1 liter per 3-3.5 m2 for one coat.

Marbling effect

  • Apply Meteore 10 Cemento with the stainless steel Valpaint PV 43 trowel to the entire wall. Then, while the product is still wet, using the PV 105 tool, create irregular, wavy grooves that run diagonally from top to bottom and vice versa. After 30’-40’ minutes at 20°C, spray the wall with water, facilitating the smoothing of METEORE 10 with the PV 44 trowel.

Venetian plaster effect

  • Apply two coats of Meteore 10 Cemento using the PV 43 stainless steel trowel with irregular movements in all directions. After 8 hours at 20°C apply the second coat and with the product still wet, treat the surface using the trowel with irregular movements until the desired finish level is achieved. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento approximately 1L for 1.4-1.6m² (equivalent to 1.1- 0.9 Kg / m²) for two coats on smooth surfaces.

Natural Crater-Bark Effect – Civil Plaster Effect

  • Apply a layer of Meteore 10 using the PV 43 Stainless Steel Trowel, leaving a thickness of approximately 2 mm. After covering a surface of 1-2 m², work again with the trowel creating small craters – bark effect. After 20-30’ at 20°C, when Meteore 10 Cemento dries, spray with water, to facilitate smoothing the surface always with the stainless steel trowel. Yield: Meteore 10 Cemento approximately for 1 liter for 1.4-1.6 m² (equivalent to 1.1-0.9 Kg / m²) with one layer on smooth surfaces.

Brush Effect

  • Dilute Meteore 10 Cemento with 320ml of water for every 1L of product. Apply two coats using the PV 09 brush with irregular movements in all directions, without leaving an excessive amount of product. Leave to dry for 8 hours at 20°C before applying the second coat. Coverage: Meteore 10 Cemento approximately for 1 litre for 2.2-2.6 m² (equals 0.7-0.6 Kg / m²) two coats on smooth surfaces.
