Preparation
Make sure the substrate is stable and remove any dirt. Remove any old paint that has peeled or cracked and wash the surface using appropriate cleaners. If necessary, spatula the surface and after drying, prime with a suitable stabilizing primer. Then apply a coat of PRIMER 1200. After 4 hours at 20°C, proceed to apply the desired effect Klondike Ferro.
Application
Protection – Stopping Oxidation
To stop the oxidation of the Klondike Ferro system, but also to ensure that the surface will not stain to the touch or that it can be washed (slightly) and cleaned, apply two coats of Syntilor – Vernis Antiroulle metal protective varnish (matte, satin or glossy) with an interval of 2 to 3 hours between them. Syntilor – Vernis Antiroulle must be used at least 48 hours after decoration, but also depending on the desired intensity of oxidation. However, the oxidation will have completed its action after 4-5 days at 20°C. For the Oxidized Metal effect, Syntilor – Vernis Antiroulle varnish must be applied with small cross movements in all directions. For Oxidized Copper and Oxidized Galvanized surface effects, it must be applied with vertical movements.
