INFORMATION

Aguaplast Top Fill acrylic filler fills holes and cracks up to 10 mm. It is applied to plaster, gypsum boards, concrete, cellular concrete, cement, polystyrene, primed wood, old paint substrates, etc. It is covered by all paints and does not require a primer. It has excellent adhesion to absorbent substrates.

Preparation

  • Aguaplast Top Fill acrylic filler is applied to dry substrates.
  • The substrate must be cohesive, stable and free from dust, grease, wax or any other substance that prevents the proper adhesion of the filler.
  • Remove loose or poorly adhered parts of plaster, mortar, old paint layers, etc. Apply DELTAFIX or another stabilizing primer to stabilize weak and chalky substrates. If necessary, treat absorbent substrates with FIXACRYL or another stabilizing primer to reduce surface absorption.
  • All areas contaminated with mold and/or moss must be thoroughly cleaned and then treated with FUNGISTOP or another antifungal agent.
  • Protect metal parts with Beissier CHAMELEON or another anti-corrosion primer.
  • In general, substrates should be treated and prepared in accordance with local standards.
  • If in doubt, it is highly recommended to perform a test application on a small area to determine suitability, compatibility and application conditions.

Application

  • Ready to use filler putty.
  • Apply using a stainless steel trowel, spatula or blade.
  • Clean tools with water immediately after use.
  • When working indoors, allow for ventilation to ensure proper drying.
  • Can be overcoated with any type of paint, finish coat, wallpaper, etc.
  • Decorative finishes can be applied once the surface is dry.
