Aguaplast Drywall ProJoint is a professional, ready-to-use, multipurpose putty for interior use. It is used for the renovation of most interior painted substrates, for filling uneven and rough surfaces, for troweling and finishing as a final preparation layer before painting and for the jointing and final finishing of drywall systems. It is specially formulated to be applied with new application methods and tools, such as Putty Roller, Jointing Bazooka, Airless puttying machines but also traditionally with spatulas and large spatulas (Blades).

INFORMATION

Aguaplast Drywall ProJoint is a professional, ready-to-use, multipurpose putty for interior use. It can be applied in layers up to 6mm and produces a very white and smooth finish. It is extremely easy to sand with fine sandpaper, such as 320 grit, and can be coated with any type of paint without the need for a primer. It is specially designed to be applied with new application methods and tools, such as Putty Roller, Jointing Bazooka, Airless puttying machines, but also traditionally with spatulas and large spatulas (Blades).

 

Preparation

  • Apply to dry substrates.
  • The substrate must be cohesive, stable and free from dust, grease, wax or any other substance that prevents the proper adhesion of the putty.
  • Remove loose or poorly adhered parts of plaster, mortar, old layers of paint, etc. Apply DELTAFIX or another stabilizing primer to stabilize weak and chalky substrates. If necessary, treat absorbent substrates with FIXACRYL or another stabilizing primer to reduce surface absorption.
  • All areas contaminated with mold and/or moss must be thoroughly cleaned and then treated with FUNGISTOP or another antifungal agent.
  • Protect metal parts with BEISSIER CHAMELEON or another anti-corrosion primer.
  • Fill deep holes and larger gaps with AGUAPLAST UNIVERSAL PRO or EXPRESS.
  • Repair and seal dynamic cracks with AGUAPLAST FIBRA or FLEX FILL.
  • Do not apply to substrates subject to constant humidity.
  • Do not apply to polished surfaces (tiles, mosaic, etc.οετοιμασία

 

 

Application

  • Ready-to-use paste.
  • Apply with Beissier putty rollers but also by hand using, stainless steel spatula, blade.
  • Can be sprayed with an Airless machine (minimum delivery volume 5 l/min – nozzle up to 5.31). No filter is required for application. Follow the machine manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning.
  • Clean tools with water immediately after use.
  • After complete drying, the surface is rubbed with fine sandpaper, etc. 240-320.
  • When working indoors, leave ventilation to ensure the correct drying process.
  • Can be coated with any type of paint, other topcoat, wallpaper, etc.
  • Decorative finishes can be applied once the surface is dry.
