INFORMATION

The transparent concentrated water-based primer based on micronized acrylic resins Prymer ACQ – 100 presents very capable penetration into mineral substrates. It has high resistance to alkalinity and is particularly suitable for outdoor use on substrates that show the chalking phenomenon. It is coated with all organic water-based finishes. It is intended for new homogeneous wall substrates, smooth wall surfaces even if they show the chalking phenomenon and on cement, lime mortars, already coated, already painted or partially degraded wall surfaces even if they show the chalking phenomenon.

 

Preparation

  • The product is ready to use. Do not dilute.
  • New, mature, homogeneous, complete city wall surfaces: Remove dust and any residues that are not completely adhered. Fix any imperfections (holes, cracks) with a suitable putty or other product suitable for the nature of the substrate. Sand and clean thoroughly.
  • Already painted surfaces: Remove any peeling paint or varnish. Fix any imperfections (holes, cracks) with a suitable putty or other product suitable for the nature of the substrate. Sand and clean thoroughly. If there are traces of mold or moss, first apply a mold and moss cleaning solution.

 

Application

  • Apply one or two coats of Prymer ACQ – 100 primer.
  • After 8 hours, proceed with the application of the final coating of your choice.
