Smalto TRE in UNO is a high-performance, water-based glossy enamel for exterior and interior use. It is applied directly to various substrates without the need for primer, is odorless and very resistant to heavy use and stains.

INFORMATION

Smalto TRE in UNO is a high-performance, water-based glossy enamel for exterior and interior use. It is applied directly to various substrates without the need for primer, is odorless and very resistant to heavy use and stains.

Preparation

NEW IRON

  • Remove any rust with a wire brush or emery cloth.
  • Clean the surface with a cloth soaked in acetone.

ALREADY PAINTED SURFACES

  • Scrub the work surface thoroughly.
  • Remove any peeling layers.
  • Clean the surface with a cloth soaked in acetone.

 

NEW WOOD EXPOSED EXTERIOR

  • Apply a coat of MaxMeyer Incolore water-based impregnation varnish.
  • Sand the surface of the wood with sandpaper and clean the surface with a damp cloth.

 

WOOD TO BE PAINTED

  • Lightly sand the surface and clean with a damp cloth.
  • Apply 2-3 coats of water-based wood primer.
  • Clean the surface with a damp cloth before painting.

 

DIFFICULT SUBSTRATES – (Galvanized sheet metal, aluminum, PVC)

  • Sand the surface thoroughly to ensure the necessary adhesion, using the following methods: sandpaper, electric sander, sandblasting.
  • Clean and degrease the surface using a cloth soaked in acetone.

 

Application

Apply 2 coats of Smalto TRE in UNO – Glossy Enamel 3 in 1, spreading the product well and then lightly sanding between the first and second coats.
