The bio-based impregnation varnish Lasure U.H.P. Biosourcée protects and sustainably decorates all exterior vertical wooden cladding. It contains 86% natural*, mineral and organic ingredients. The quality of the Syntilor Biosourcee range is recognised by AFPRAL, which recommends this product for reducing the risk of respiratory allergies.

Made with polyurethane resins, the bio-based Lasure U.H.P. Biosourcée impregnation varnish contains 86% natural, mineral and organic ingredients (not from organic farming) including 48% carbon of biological origin measured according to the NF EN 16640 standard.

It offers high resistance to UV radiation and bad weather conditions and sustainably protects external wooden structures: windows, shutters, garden sheds, cladding, fences, wooden gates, etc.

Microporous and water-repellent: it allows wooden structures to breathe while waterproofing them by preventing water penetration.

High-performance and durable, it provides protection for up to 8 years outdoors.

Ideal for renovation and easy to apply thanks to its non-flowing texture.

Practical, it can be applied over all old impregnation varnishes and highlights the natural pores and veins of the wood.

Syntilor QUALITY COMMITMENT:

The bio-based impregnation varnish Lasure U.H.P. Biosourcée has been tested and validated in our laboratories and offers the same performance as Lasure ULD Aquarethane® for 8 years, in particular with regard to:

– Durability test (cracking, yellowing, resistance to temperature fluctuations, etc.)

– Natural aging test according to standard NF EN ISO 927-3

– Accelerated aging test: QUV test according to standard NF EN ISO 927-6

– Water resistance test according to standard NF-EN ISO 2812-4

Preparation

New or rough wood: perfect adhesion on bare, clean, dry and healthy wood (exotic wood must be thoroughly degreased with acetone before application).
On greyed or blackened wood: clean with Dégriseur Bois Syntilor Cleaner and then sand with sandpaper No. 80-100.
On old impregnation varnish: sand lightly with sandpaper No. 120
NOTE: Lasure U.H.P. Biosourcée can be applied to all old types of impregnation varnish.
On old finishes (paints, varnishes, etc.): sand with sandpaper No. 40, 60 and 100 or use the abrasive Décapant Gel Multi-Supports to restore the wood surface. Clean thoroughly from dust.
On contaminated wood: scrape, clean and then apply a suitable treatment product. Allow to dry for at least 48 hours before applying the impregnation varnish.

Application

Ready to use, do not dilute.
Stir well before use.
Apply with a brush, a wide brush or a paint gun in the direction of the wood grain in generous coats.
On new or bare exterior wood: apply 3 coats.
On new or renovated interior wood: apply 2 coats.
On wood with a pre-existing impregnation varnish in good condition: a single coat is sufficient.
On wood with a pre-existing impregnation varnish in poor condition: sand the damaged surfaces with 120 grit sandpaper, clean thoroughly from dust and then apply 2 coats.
Do not exceed 48 hours between 2 coats.
On vertical wood surfaces and in case of South or West exposure, apply 3 coats.
Do not apply on Red Cedar.

IMPORTANT: outdoors, the “colorless” shade is also used for maintenance or renovation on new or already impregnated wood. Do not apply to parquet and wooden floors.
