Active Impregnante a Solvente is essentially a protective and decorative wood impregnation varnish, which penetrates deeply and does not form a film. It is breathable, resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation. It emphasizes the veins of the wood and is easy and quick to apply. Its ability to deeply impregnate gives the wooden surfaces to which it is applied long-lasting protection.
Preparation
NEW WOOD: Lightly rub the surface, if oily, remove any stains with a cloth soaked in acetone.
WOOD with existing varnish or wood stain: Remove any existing paint or varnish until the wood is completely exposed. Sand any imperfections with sandpaper (grit 120-150) and clean thoroughly.
On contaminated wood: scrape, clean and then apply a suitable treatment product. Allow to dry for at least 48 hours before applying the impregnation varnish.
Application
Apply a first coat of Active Impregnante a Solvente. Let the surface dry. If necessary, lightly sand before the 2nd coat to obtain a beautiful and smooth final surface. Apply at least a second coat of the product, in the desired shade.
