Koncrete Honed – Polished Plaster is a range of natural plaster finishes that mimic the look and feel of cast concrete for a contemporary urban feel. It presents a relatively smooth surface with a light surface sheen with subtle tonal variations and subtle pitting on the surface. The semi-polished finish redefines the raw aesthetic of cast concrete and creates a more refined, considered surface suitable for luxury interiors.
Armourcoat Koncrete Honed is created using the standard P01 pressed plaster powder. While it is usually made from P01 White, Koncrete Honed can also be made from P30 (Creme shade) and P66 (Stone shade) pressed plasters. We will refer to them as “P01+” for short. Armourcoat P01+ is a natural mineral material consisting of hydrated lime, crushed marble and cement combined with special additives to control the working characteristics. Although essentially the same in composition, the three base powders P01, P30 and P66 are made up of different proportions of white, yellow, red and green crushed marble powder. This means that a range of natural stone colour finishes can be achieved without the addition of pigment.
