Effet Laqué and Effet Mat varnishes provide a beautiful high gloss or matt decorative look when applied over Blanchon Peinture de Rénovation Cuisine & Bains renovation paint. They are durable for domestic use and washable, making frequent maintenance easy.

Preparation

Apply directly over Blanchon Peinture de Rénovation Cuisine & Bains multi-purpose renovation paint after at least 8 hours of drying of the paint and at most within 48 hours.
On bare, untreated wood: Sand with sandpaper No. 100 or 120. Remove dust carefully. Degrease with a cloth and acetone.

Application

Ready to use product, do not dilute.
Stir well before application.
Apply a layer of product crosswise with a microfiber roller. Use a brush for corners and small objects.
Let dry for 2 hours.
If necessary, apply a 2nd layer.
On bare, untreated wood: Apply 3 layers, lightly sanding between layers with sandpaper No 120 – 180. Remove dust carefully.
Take some preventive measures in the first days after application: no heavy use or impacts.…
Full mechanical capacity occurs after 7 days.

Maintenance

Clean with a damp sponge (non-abrasive) and a mild detergent.
