They are easy to apply, almost odorless, waterproof and with a satin finish. They are applied over Blatem Chalk Paint for greater protection and a handmade feel.

The Liquid and creamy water waxes (Chalk Paint Cera Incolora – Cera Oscura) in Colorless and Dark, provide a soft texture, a handmade feel and protection in one go. They are easy to apply, almost odorless, waterproof and with a satin finish. They are applied over Blatem Chalk Paint for greater protection and a handmade feel.

Preparation and Application

  • Surfaces painted with Blatem chalk paints must be dry and clean before applying Cire Blatem chalk paint.
  • The waxes (Chalk Paint Cera Incolora – Cera Oscura) are applied in thin layers with a brush, sponge or cloth/wool.
  • For an aged patina effect apply the dark wax (Cera Oscura). When the wax has dried, polish with a cloth.
  • Apply in thin layers.
  • Do not apply at temperatures below 10ºC and relative humidity above 80%.
  • Stir the contents of the container.
  • Avoid direct exposure of the container to sunlight and frost.
  • It is recommended not to wash the waxed surface before 20 days have passed since application.
