No you cannot. Floor varnishes are not intended for outdoor use. It is recommended to use either Syntilor VERNIS BOIS varnish or VERNIS MARIN – Marine Varnish.

All Syntilor floor varnishes can be applied over Syntilor impregnation varnish. Syntilor impregnation varnish is applied in a thin layer and before applying the floor varnish it should be lightly sanded with sandpaper (grit 120).

Yes, different finishes (gloss levels) of Syntilor floor varnishes can be layered on top of each other, or even mixed.

Renovating old parquet by applying floor varnish without completely removing the existing layers is only possible if the existing surface is not worn down to the wood (if it is, even locally, you cannot). Clean the parquet using a suitable floor cleaner and sand with sandpaper (grit 120). Then apply two layers of floor varnish from Syntilor – Vitrificateur Ultra Resistant AQUARÉTHANE®.
