Primer per verderame/ Primer for the Copper Oxidation effect: 130ml

Colore rame or rame chiaro/Copper or Light Copper Color: 130ml – 330ml

Reagente per verderame/Oxidation activator: 130ml

Finitura anti-ossidante per verderame/Oxidation stop finish: 130ml

The Copper Oxidation effect system – Verderame Fleur is a decorative effect with a real visual and tactile appearance of Copper oxidation and aged brass appearance. The application system is simple and allows the effect to be achieved and reproduced even on very large surfaces. The effect can be achieved in 2 shades, depending on the aesthetic needs. The final result is unique, the application of a transparent protector allows the level of resistance to be increased.

The Copper Oxidation effect system – Verderame Fleur is a decorative effect with a real visual and tactile appearance of Copper oxidation and aged brass appearance. The application system is simple and allows the effect to be achieved and reproduced even on very large surfaces. The effect can be achieved in 2 shades, depending on the aesthetic needs. The final result is unique, the application of a transparent protector allows the level of resistance to be increased.

Preparation and Application

 

Steps Step 1 – PRIMER FOR COPPER OXIDATION EFFECT / PRIMER PER VERDERAME

  • The white primer is applied with a short-pile roller.
  • The primer must be applied in two layers, with an interval of approximately 4 hours between them.
  • On plasterboard or rough concrete, first apply a layer of acrylic primer.
  • For application to wood or MDF, the surface must have been previously treated with a suitable primer.
  • For application to metal, the surface must be sanded and degreased beforehand.
  • After drying and always after at least 2 hours, the following layers can be applied.

 

Step 2 – COPPER or LIGHT COPPER COLOR/COLORE RAME or RAME CHIARO

  • The product is applied with a short-haired roller, without thinning, where possible, in two layers with a gap of 2-3 hours between them.
  • Apply the product homogeneously without joints and avoiding overlaps.

 

Step 3 – COPPER OXIDATION ACTIVATOR – REAGENTE PER VERDERAME

  • Once the paint is dry, apply the Activator with a short-haired roller or a natural sponge. In this phase it is very important to carry out a homogeneous application without roller marks. During this phase the room / application area must not be exposed to high heat / strong wind / direct sunlight.
  • After a few minutes it is possible to see the beginning of oxidation. Before it is completely dry, apply a second layer of Activator.
  • Use protective gloves and glasses during application.
  • Shake the Activator well before use.

 

Step 4 – ANTI-OXIDANT FINISH FOR GREENERY

  • Once the Activator has completely dried, preferably the next day and in any case within 48 hours, apply the Anti-Oxidant Finish with a short-pile roller in two even coats.
  • Wait 2-4 hours between the 2 coats.
  • Use a new roller for this product to increase the performance of the finish.
