INFORMATION

Spirito Libero breathes extremely well, is resistant to alkaline environments and is an excellent natural fungicidal and bactericidal product. Its stable carbonization process makes it particularly resistant to moisture. Suitable for any interior wall or ceiling surface.

Preparation

  • Old surface: remove all loose old and peeling paint and clean. Then apply a stabilizing primer depending on the type of surface. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of PRIMUS NATURALE diluted up to a maximum of 10% with water. After 4-6 hours at 20°C proceed with the application of Spirito Libero.
  • New surface: clean (and if necessary, fill in/spatulate) the surface to be painted. Once dry, sand the surface and apply a coat of suitable primer. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of PRIMUS NATURALE diluted up to a maximum of 10% with water. After 4-6 hours at 20°C proceed with the application of Spirito Libero.

Note: When the substrate is plasterboard, the surface must be puttied in its entirety and not just at its joints and screws. It must then be primed with a suitable plasterboard primer and then the above preparation process must be followed.

Application

Apply Spirito Libero in 2 coats, using the special INOX-stainless steel spatula Spatula Stuhhi. Prepare the shade with the pigment indicated in the color chart, mix with a mechanical stirrer and allow the mixture to “settle” for 12 hours.

  • First Coat: apply Spirito Libero with the classic spatula method, filling the surface with crisscross movements.
  • Second coat: when the first coat has dried, apply the second in the same way. Compress and press the product after approximately 15 minutes. Apply the desired finish.

Finishes – Protection

  • With natural wax CERA D’API: stir the product for 1′-2′ minutes before use. Let the surface to be applied dry for at least 48 hours. Apply the wax using the PE7 sponge, over the entire surface, and remove any excess with a soft cloth. After about 10′ minutes, the surface can be polished with a clean cloth (microfiber, cotton or linen).
  • With GIOIA, ORO RICCO or WHITE PAINT: these three products are applied after the 2 coats of Spirito Libero using the PE7 sponge, either in the same shade or in other shades (GIOIA, ORO RICCO). If used for finishing, wait between 6 and 8 hours from one coat to the next so that the wall is completely dry.
  • With VETRO resin varnish: protective water-based resin varnish. After the two coats of Spirito Libero, first apply a coat of VETRO diluted 80% with water, and then a second coat, undiluted. When one of GIOIA, ORO or WHITE PAINT has been applied over Spirito Libero, apply (if desired) a coat of VETRO undiluted.
