Armourcoat K40 Primer is a water-based primer designed to reduce the absorbency of substrates, make suction uniform and provide a well-prepared surface to ensure proper adhesion for Armourcoat Polished Plaster, Armuralia, Istria, Spatulata and PPX trowelable plasters.
Armourcoat K40 Primer is a water-based product with low VOC content and emissions. It is suitable for surfaces such as: Gypsum Board/Fibreboard, existing plaster, previously decorated surfaces, MDF, GRG, Block.
Preparation and Application
*Note: The good drying conditions referred to mean good ventilation and air circulation. The use of fans even in hot conditions will significantly speed up the drying process. In very humid conditions it will also help to use a dehumidifier.
If heat is used, it should not be directed at the finish and should not be damp heat such as that generated by gas burners.
