Primer 1400 is a water-based acrylic-siloxane primer for exterior and interior use. It contains special resins and fillers that ensure high breathability.
The acrylic-siloxane primer Primer 1400 is an easy-to-apply water-based product that offers good coverage, durability and washability. Before applying, prepare the surface with FISSATIVO 30G or WATER FREE. It can be applied to various surfaces and substrates such as concrete, plaster, drywall, fiberboard, wood, iron and surfaces that have already been painted, provided that the paint adheres firmly to the surface.
Preparation
Remove any old, flaking paint and wash with water and a suitable soap product. Then, fill/fill the surface to be treated and sand once dry. Then apply a coat of FISSATIVO ACRILICO 30 G trasparente, diluted 1:5 with water, using a brush or roller. Alternatively, you can use TRASPARENTE FREE WATER diluted 1:1 with synthetic thinner or paint thinner. After 8 hours at 20°C from the application of FISSATIVO ACRILICO 30 G or 16 hours at 20°C from the application of WATER FREE, proceed with Primer 1400.
Application
Apply Primer 1400 diluted 15-20% with water using a roller or the PV09 brush, applying one or two coats to cover the support surface. After 6-8 hours at 20°C, proceed with the application of SABULADOR EXTERIOR.
IMPORTANT: It is essential to respect the drying times in order to ensure a successful result of the work with the SABULADOR EXTERIOR decorative system.
Application temperature: between +5°C and +30°C. Do not apply in bright sunlight or under strong wind conditions. Avoid application on days with high humidity levels or when the surfaces are frozen.
