Primer 1200 is a water-based primer for exterior and interior spaces, easy to apply, characterized by high coverage, durability and washability. It is of Acrylic-Siloxane composition and its special resins make the surface breathable.

INFORMATION

Primer 1200 is a water-based primer for exterior and interior spaces, easy to apply, characterized by high coverage, durability and washability. It can be applied to various surfaces such as cement, gypsum, plaster, drywall, wood and iron and even to surfaces that have already been painted (provided that the existing paint is in good condition and without peeling areas).

Preparation and Application 

For METEORE 10 CEMENTO:

  • Make sure the surface is solid and remove any stains. Remove any old discoloured or worn areas and wash the surface. Then, fill the surface where necessary and apply a stabilizing primer. Apply Primer 1200 with a roller, brush or spray gun. After 6 hours at 20°C, apply METEORE 10 and C100 Over depending on the result you want to create.
  • New surfaces: Use, where necessary, the appropriate filler to repair the surface. When dry, sand and apply a coat of Primer 1200 diluted 30% with water. After 4 hours at 20°C, continue with the application of METEORE 10.
  • Old surfaces: Remove any old discoloured or worn areas and wash the surface. Then apply a coat of Primer 1200 diluted 30% with water. After 4 hours at 20°C, continue with the application of METEORE 10.

 

For METEORE 10 INTONACO:

  • New surfaces: Use, where necessary, the appropriate filler to repair the surface. When dry, sand and apply a coat of Primer 1200 diluted 30% with water. After 4 hours at 20°C, continue with the application of METEORE 10 INTONACO
  • Old surfaces: Remove any old discoloured or worn areas and wash the surface. Then, apply a coat of Primer 1200 diluted 30% with water. After 4 hours at 20°C, continue with the application of METEORE 10 INTONACO.

 

For KLONDIKE CORTEN and on smooth surfaces:

  • Remove all loose old and peeling paint and clean. Then apply a stabilizing primer depending on the type of surface. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of Primer 1200 and after 6 hours at 20°C, proceed with the application of KLONDIKE CORTEN.

 

For KLONDIKE FERRO:

  • Make sure the surface is stable and remove any stains. Remove any old discoloured or worn areas and wash the surface. Then, where necessary, fill the surface and apply a stabilizing primer. Apply Primer 1200 with a roller, brush or spray gun. After 4 hours at 20°C, apply Klondike Ferro depending on the effect you want to create.
