Gioia is a decorative paint for interiors with striking and sparkling iridescent effects. It contains silver mother-of-pearl flakes, which once applied, the product changes shine and design depending on how the light reflects on it. Made with water-based acrylic copolymers, it has good washability and is resistant to bacterial agents. Available in 169 different shades.

Gioia is a decorative paint with an iridescent-pearl finish. It consists of off-white – silvery mother-of-pearl flakes that illuminate your walls with iridescent reflections. The brush marks change with the light, creating reflections and different light shades. It offers washability and has countless application possibilities. It is suitable for decorating interior surfaces.

Preparation

Proper preparation of the substrate is essential for a perfect finish.

Old surface: remove all loose old and peeling paint and clean. Then apply a stabilizing primer depending on the type of surface. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of PRIMUS SABBIA. After 4-6 hours at 20°C proceed with the application of Gioia.
New surface: clean (and if necessary, fill-spatulate) the surface you want to paint. Once dry, sand the surface and apply a coat of a suitable primer. When the primer is completely dry, apply a coat of PRIMUS SABBIA. After 4-6 hours at 20°C proceed with the application of Gioia.

Application

The product is ready to use, do not dilute.
Application tools: with the GG&f – PE9 brush
The product is applied in 2 layers with the PE9 brush. A layer of Primus Sabbia is applied with a roller and then Gioia is applied with the PE9 brush. For applications on bathroom tiles with a small joint, clean the surface thoroughly and apply at least two layers of Gioia directly onto the surface.

Protection

With VETRO water-based varnish: Protective water-based varnish. The product is ready to use. Let the surface to be applied dry for at least 48 hours. Apply 1 or 2 coats with a brush or roller.
