Fili di Seta is a decorative water-based paint based on acrylic resins and natural sand. It reproduces the luxurious sensations of a pure silk wall with its magical shine and the contrast of optical silk threads. It is applied indoors and gives fancy and shiny iridescent effects of raw silk threads. Available in 169 different shades.
Fili di Seta is suitable for decorating interior wall surfaces of various natures. It is easily applied with a PE 10 brush. It reproduces the luxurious sensations of a pure silk wall with its magical shine and the contrast of the optical silk threads. It is applied indoors and gives fancy and shiny iridescent effects of raw silk threads. Available in 169 different shades.
Preparation
Proper preparation of the substrate is essential for a perfect finish. Proceed to eliminate any disintegrated and unstable paints or coatings, taking care to clean or brush off any spots of mold and dust. Before applying PRIMUS SABBIA, the surface must always be solid, if not, proceed with a layer of a cohesive primer with insulating properties, especially if it is a plasterboard wall. At this point, apply PRIMUS SABBIA.
Application
Fili di Seta is ready to use. Color by adding Giorgio Graesan & Friends COLORANT (always mix the colorant before adding it to the product), in the quantity indicated in the catalog and mix until the dye is completely homogenized, taking care not to leave any uncolored product on the bottom or walls of the container.
The product is applied in one layer with vertical movements with the PE 10 brush. If you want a richer impression of the silk “threads”, you can apply a second layer of Fili di Seta in the same way.
Protection
After 24 hours, Fili di Seta can be protected by applying a layer of undiluted VETRO protective varnish with a PE 3 brush. This achieves good water repellency and complete washability of the wall. To clean walls with Fili di Seta use LATTE DETERGENTE (diluted 50 ml in 1 liter of water).
