Thanks to Chrono 10′ technology, Decapant Gel Multi Supports acts quickly to thoroughly strip and expose all types of surfaces: wood, metal, stone, concrete, tiles, glass, etc.

Ideal for effectively removing paints, impregnation varnishes, varnishes, adhesives, coatings, putties, plasters. Its non-caustic composition acts without damaging the substrate.

Without rinsing, it can be quickly covered with the new finish of your choice.

Preparation

  • On furniture, antiques or fragile objects, do a preliminary test in an inconspicuous area.
  • Rubber gloves and goggles are recommended when using.
  • Shake well before use.

Application

  • Shake the container before use.
  • Apply a generous layer of Decapant Gel Multi Supports with a brush or spatula.
  • IMPORTANT: some surfaces, under the action of the Corrosive, blister while others soften. The exposure time depends on the nature and thickness of the film to be removed.
  • When the coating has peeled off sufficiently (3′ to 45′ minutes), remove the entire thing with a spatula, without scratching the surface. If necessary, scrub with a stiff brush (nylon or grass).
  • Note: If you want to strip wood, always work in the direction of its fibers.
  • Clean with a damp sponge, which you rinse frequently with tap water. For sensitive woods or veneers, rinse with odorless solvent or Dégriseur Nettoyant.
  • In case of several older coats, repeat the process after rinsing.
  • Let dry thoroughly before applying the new finish.

TIP: Stripping on a horizontal surface will facilitate the penetration of the product. For best results, first sand the layers to be removed with 60 grit sandpaper to facilitate the penetration of the product. On old or fragile furniture or objects, carry out a preliminary test in an inconspicuous area. Do not use on plastic materials. Do not use in direct sunlight, prefer dry, windless weather. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves and safety glasses. Follow the safety instructions.
