INFORMATION

Armourcoat Aquawax is a natural water-based wax that includes additional additives to provide greater protection to the surfaces it is applied to. This product is suitable for coating porous surfaces where it will provide waterproof and stain resistant properties. It is applied to all Armourcoat Polished Plaster finishes where vapour permeability is not required. For areas requiring a glossy finish, Armourcoat White Wax or Armourcoat EcoWax may be more suitable.

Preparation and Application

  • Ensure that the Armourcoat Polished Plaster to be protected has been allowed to dry for at least 24 hours.
  • Apply a generous first coat of Armourcoat Aquawax using a cloth, sponge or roller. Wipe off any drips or runs
  • Within a few minutes using a cloth dampened with a little wax in one hand and a dry cloth in the other, first wipe the damp cloth over approximately 1⁄4 m2 at a time to remove application marks and then buff with the dry cloth. Dark patches will disappear as the wax dries.
  • Allow Armourcoat Aquawax to dry for 1 – 2 hours and buff with a mechanical buffer to enhance the shine of the surface.
