INFORMATION

Aguaplast Spray Filler is the ideal product for surface repairs: small holes, surface cracks, etc. It has excellent adhesion to different surfaces and is applied in one layer. It does not shrink.

Preparation

  • Apply to dry substrates.
  • The substrate must be cohesive, stable and free from dust, grease, wax or any other substance that prevents the proper adhesion of the putty.
  • Remove loose or poorly adhered parts of plaster, mortar, old layers of paint, etc.
  • Apply DELTAFIX or another stabilizing primer to stabilize weak and chalky substrates.
  • All areas contaminated with mold and/or moss must be thoroughly cleaned and then treated with FUNGISTOP or another antifungal agent.
  • Protect metal parts with Beissier CHAMELEON or another anti-corrosion primer.
  • In general, substrates must be treated and prepared in accordance with local standards. If in doubt, it is highly recommended to perform a test application on a small area to determine suitability, compatibility and application conditions.
  • Do not apply to substrates subject to constant humidity.
  • Do not apply to glossy surfaces (tiles, mosaic, etc.).

 

Application

  • Ready-to-use putty paste in spray.
  • Before first use, shake the can well by holding it upside down until the mixing balls loosen and make a sound. Then spray onto a cloth or sheet of paper to ensure that the material flows properly.
  • Hold the can vertically and spray in a zigzag pattern from a distance of approximately 25 cm directly onto the crack or damaged area.
  • Do not overspray to avoid the product leaking from the substrate. One application is enough. Using a stainless steel trowel or spatula, press vertically, making sure that the material penetrates deep into the gap. Finally, smooth to achieve a perfectly flat surface.
  • Clean the can valve with a damp cloth and the tools with water immediately after use.
  • When working indoors, allow for ventilation to ensure proper drying process.
  • Can be overcoated with any type of paint, topcoat, wallpaper, etc.
  • Decorative finishes can be applied once the surface is dry.
